*   Hatha Yog only leads us to Raj yog

*   Hatha Yog is the solace for people suffering and it is the foundation (tortoise) for Yog Sadhaks

*   For success in Yog keep the accomplishments/practises a secret, practise become useless once it is shared with other’s

*   Yog should be practised alone, free from all other thoughts and tensions

*   Over eating, over exertion, talkativeness, adhernce to rules, public contact, fickleness of mind destroy yog

*   Enthusiasm, courage, patience, knowledge of the essence, determination, avoiding public contact is good for yog

*   Asan is the first limb of Yog

*   Asan bring mental and physical stability, health, lightness in the body

*   Swastikasan-

*   Gomukhasan-

*   Veerasan- Like Ardha Padmasan

*   Kurmasan- Like vajrasan, feet outside and heels inside (pressing anus)

*   Kukkutasan-

*   Uttankurmasan- both hands on the neck in kurmasan and lie down on the back like a tortoise

*   Dhanurasan- Hold the toes and pull them towards the ears

*   Matsyendrasan- Lights the digestiv fire, Destroys the diseases, awakens the kundalini, Stabilises the Moon Element

*   Paschimottanasan- Prana flows in the sushumna nadi, Lights digestive fire, tones the abdomen and provides health

*   Mayurasan- Quickly destroys all diseases, removes spleen disorders, digests excess and bad food, lights the digestive fire so much that poison also cannot effect

*   Shavasan- removes fatigue and gives mental peace

*   Siddhasan, Padmasan, Singhasan, Bhadrasan are four imprtant asan. Siddhasan is the most important asan among four mentioned.

*   Siddhasan-

Chin to chest, Senses controlled, gaze at the eyebrow centre, become stable, Siddhasan opens the door to Moksha.

Just like Mita-ahar is the best Yama and Ahimsa is the best Niyama, Siddhasan is the best asana.

It purifies the 72000 Nadis.

Sadhak who regularly concentrate upon the Soul, Eats Mit-ahar and practises Siddhasan for 12 years achieve the Nishpatti avastha (sloka 4:76).

When the Prana vayu is under control and kevala kumbaka is acheieved then unmani-kala come on its own.

When Siddhasan is achieved through determination the three bandhas(3:75) happen on its own.

There is no other asan like siddhasan, no ther kumbaka like kevala kumbaka, no other mudra like khechari(3:32, 4:43) mudra, no other laya(4:43) like naad(4:65).

*   Padmasan- Hands like baddha padmasan, Chin to chest, Gaze at the nose tip, destroyer of all diseases.

2. Chin to chest, Hands in dhyana mudra, slowly raise the prana upwards, gazing at the nose tip, tounge like basic khechari mudra.

Destroyer of all diseases.

3. After inhalation apply chin lock and mulabandh, uniting the apna and Prana, concentrate upon param bhrama, the sadhak due to the flow of energy experiences the knowledge which cannot be compared to anything else.

Sadhak who holds the breath inside in padmasan is mukta.

*   Singhasan- Heels press below the gonads, spread the fingers on the knees and gaze at the nose tip, with mouth wide open. Makes the performance of three bandhas simple.

*   Bhadrasan-Both heels kept below the gonads, back side of seevni, hold the toes of both feet. It is the destroyer of all diseases.

*   Post asan practise once you feel energised, practise nadi shuddhi and mudras.

*   Post the practise of kumbaka and mudra, practise the Nada-anusandhan

*   Those who adopt bhramacharya, mit-ahar, Sacrifise(tyagi) and surrender himself to Yog completely, achieves siddhi in One Year.

*   Soft and sweet, after offering to God, eat 1/4th part of food less.

*   Bitter, sour, spicy, salty, hot, oily, fish, meat, curd, butter milk, hing, garlic is to be avoided.

*   Re-heat, dry, excess salt or sour is not allowed.

*   sitting beside fire, indulging with women, long tours should be avoided in the beginning of practise.

*   Place of bad people, sitting beside fire, company of women, Long tour, early morning bath, fasting, activities which gives troubles to the body should be avoided.

*   What, rice , jowar, ginger, milk, ghee, butter, khand sugar, mishri, honey, mung, rain water is good.

*   Spinach like jivanti, bathua, cholai, meghnaad, punarnava is good.

*   nutritious, sweet, soft, milk, good for dhatus, according to the mind eat proper food.

*   Practise without lazyness will surely bring siddhi.

*   Siddhi can only be achieved through practise, not only by reading the shastras.

*   Only by wearing a particualr cloth or by talkinng about yog does not bring any siddhi. Pracrise is the only way to bring results. No doubt about that.

*   Hatha yog is practised only till we become successful in Raj Yog(2:76).
